About the Role
Cevex Events and Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dedicated and experienced Event Specialist to join our team in Trivandrum. The ideal candidate should have experience in event management, hospitality, or hotel operations and be capable of handling events from planning to execution. The candidate should be willing to travel, coordinate with internal teams, and interact with clients whenever required.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate events, weddings, conferences, exhibitions, and other special events.
- Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements and expectations.
- Attend client meetings and site visits whenever required.
- Work closely with internal departments, vendors, and partners to ensure smooth event execution.
- Prepare event timelines, schedules, and operational plans.
- Monitor event budgets and ensure cost-effective execution.
- Manage event logistics, venue coordination, transportation, accommodation, and vendor arrangements.
- Handle on-site event operations and troubleshoot issues during event execution.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Prepare post-event reports and feedback summaries.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and client satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in event management, hospitality, or hotel operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in corporate events, weddings, exhibitions, or hospitality operations will be an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel as per business requirements.
