Responsibilities
Assist in the design, implementation, monitoring, and support of NOC operations, including server, LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure.
Network Device Management: Configure, deploy, and manage network devices and services, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
Server Management: Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL) and Windows Server operating systems.
Virtualization: Provision, manage and maintain virtualized infrastructure using VMware ESXi and Proxmox.
Performing maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations on Servers and Network Devices.
Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and security, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to design and implement innovative infrastructure solutions that support business growth and operational efficiency.
Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, system configurations, and operational procedures.
Required Skills & Experience Networking
3–5 years of experience in network administration, Cisco networking, or IT infrastructure engineering.
Strong understanding of networking concepts with industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP
Hands-on experience with Cisco Layer 2/Layer 3 switches, routers, and Cisco ASA firewalls.
Experience configuring and managing VPN solutions, including Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPNs.
Strong knowledge of network security policies, firewall rules, NAT, ACLs, and network segmentation.
Working expertise in routing and switching protocols, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VTP, HSRP, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues using packet capture tools (Wireshark), CLI diagnostics, and network monitoring tools.
Server Administration
Strong experience administering Linux servers (Ubuntu, RHEL/CentOS) in production environments.
Experience managing Linux-based services such as Apache, Nginx, MySQL/MariaDB, and Asterisk.
Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash) for automation and system administration tasks.
Hands-on expertise in Windows Server Administration (2016/2019/2022).
Administration of core Microsoft services, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and user access management.
Strong understanding of Windows patch management, security policies, and system hardening.
Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware ESXi and Proxmox.
Good knowledge of storage technologies, including LVM, RAID, SAN, and NAS.
Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
