Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled GIS Engineer with experience in Land-Base and Utility Projects. The ideal candidate should be proficient in GIS technologies and willing to travel as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize ArcMap, QGIS, and AutoCAD for GIS data processing and analysis.
- Hands-on experience in Telecom, OFC (Optical Fiber Cable), GPON, FTTx, and Fiber Network Planning.
- Capture and analyze data from multiple sources, including scanned images and satellite imageries.
- Perform GIS-based conversions and work with GIS tools to manage spatial data efficiently.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in GIS layers and spatial datasets.
- Collaborate with project teams and provide GIS-based solutions for engineering and mapping needs.
- Travel to project sites as needed to support field data collection and verification.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in Land Base and Utility Projects
- Proficiency in ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and QGIS.
- Strong experience in GIS-based tools, data conversion applications, and satellite imagery processing.
- Candidates with experience working on Indian Projects are required.
- Hands-on experience in BSNL BharatNet Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III projects will be a significant advantage.
- Experience in telecom GIS, fiber network planning, or geospatial infrastructure projects.
