ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Associate to join our International Accounts & Compliance Division supporting clients across the UK, USA, Hong Kong, Europe and Dubai including SMEs and Corporates.
This is a team role based at our Dehradun headquarters and offers exposure to global financial operations, accounting practices, compliance processes, and a fast-paced international consulting environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Operations & Accounting Support Assist in preparation of invoices, bank reconciliations, income & expenditure accounts, payroll schedules, compliance schedules, and return preparation. Maintain books of accounts including AR/AP statements, reconciliations, invoicing, and bill processing. Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, MIS reporting). Assist in payroll processing, payslip generation, and related client deliverables. Prepare schedules for taxation and compliance including Income Tax, Corporate Tax, VAT, and related reporting. Execute project tasks as assigned by management.
- Client Communication & Coordination Communicate with clients for recurring deliverables and project updates. Maintain regular updates on assigned processes and timelines. Conduct research and support reporting managers on assigned tasks. Coordinate effectively with peers, seniors, managers, and cross-functional teams. Deliver assigned work accurately while maintaining responsiveness and timelines.
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Preferred understanding of Accounting Standards (Ind AS/AS), GST, TDS, and Income Tax. Advanced Excel proficiency and working knowledge of MS Office Suite, Google Drive, and Gmail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in team environments. High responsiveness, accountability, and time management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required: B.Com with 2 years or more of relevant experience in Finance, Tax, Accounting, or Compliance, OR MBA – Finance with 1 year or more of relevant experience in Finance, Tax, Accounting, or Compliance
Additional qualifications (preferred but not mandatory): ACCA (Pursuing / Partially Completed) CPA (Pursuing / Partially Completed) CA Inter
Preferred Exposure: Exposure to Tax, Audit, Finance, Accounting, and Compliance functions will be an added advantage.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Experience with: MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint GST Portal and Income Tax Portal ERP systems such as SAP, Tally, Oracle (preferred)
SOFT SKILLS
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills Analytical thinking and coordination abilities Time management and multitasking capabilities
KEY SKILLS
- Knowledge of accounting principles, compliance, and audit processes. Strong written and verbal communication
