Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic Import Pricing Executive / Sr. Executive / Manager with experience in Air and Sea freight pricing. The candidate will be responsible for managing freight rates, coordinating with carriers and co-loaders, and supporting the sales team with competitive pricing for import shipments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day pricing support to the sales team and customers.
- Send freight rate inquiries to Steam Ship Liners (SSL), Airlines, and LCL Co-loaders.
- Receive and maintain monthly rate sheets as per service contracts with carriers.
- Support service contract negotiations with SSL and carriers.
- Share updated rate sheets with the Sales team and Management.
- Coordinate with the sales team and customers to understand shipment requirements.
- Ensure timely quotations, negotiation, and filing of freight rates.
- Handle RFQs, tenders, and bids within deadlines.
- Secure competitive market rates through internal data and carrier feedback.
- Maintain strong relationships with carriers, co-loaders, and partners.
Requirements
- 2 – 5 years of experience in Pricing / Freight Forwarding / Logistics.
- Strong knowledge of Air and Sea freight pricing (Import).
- Experience working with Steam Ship Liners, Airlines, and LCL co-loaders.
- Good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple rate requests and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and email communication.
Preferred Profile
- Background in Freight Forwarding / Logistics companies only.
- Experience in handling RFQs, tenders, and freight negotiations.
