Job Title: Full-stack developer

JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a highly efficient Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end applications. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in multiple programming languages, technologies, and frameworks, with strong expertise in software architecture, cybersecurity, testing, cloud technologies, and AI integration. The candidate will be responsible for developing scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions while ensuring they meet both current and future business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Full Stack Development
· Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
· Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar frameworks.
· Build robust backend services, REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, and microservices.
· Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, etc.
· Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, cloud services, and external systems.
· Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
· Review code and enforce development standards across projects.
2. Software Architecture & Technical Ownership
· Participate in system architecture and technology selection.
· Design scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
· Identify technical risks and provide appropriate solutions.
· Take ownership of modules/projects from requirement analysis through deployment and maintenance.
· Optimize application performance, database queries, APIs, and infrastructure.
· Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps practices.
3. Cybersecurity
· Implement secure coding practices throughout the development lifecycle.
· Identify and address vulnerabilities such as :
o OWASP Top 10
o SQL Injection
o XSS
o CSRF
o Authentication/authorization vulnerabilities
o API security issues
o Insecure data exposure
· Implement secure authentication using OAuth 2.0, JWT, MFA, RBAC, etc.
· Conduct basic security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and threat modelling.
· Work with security tools such as SAST, DAST, dependency scanners, and vulnerability scanners.
· Ensure encryption of sensitive data in transit and at rest.
· Support security audits, penetration testing, and remediation activities.
· Ensure appropriate logging, monitoring, access control, and security policies.
4. Testing & Quality Assurance
· Develop and maintain unit, integration, API, and end-to-end tests.
· Establish automated testing practices as part of the development process.
· Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or similar platforms.
· Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve functional and performance issues.
· Conduct regression testing before releases.
· Work closely with QA engineers to improve test coverage and software quality.
· Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
· Ensure production releases meet defined quality standards.
5. AI / Machine Learning Integration
· Integrate AI/ML capabilities into web and enterprise applications.
· Work with Generative AI, LLM APIs, NLP, embeddings, RAG, and AI agents where applicable.
· Integrate platforms/APIs such as OpenAI, Azure AI, AWS AI services, or other AI models.
· Develop AI-powered features such as Chatbots and virtual assistants, Intelligent automation, Data classification, etc.
· Develop and integrate RAG pipelines using vector databases.
· Implement appropriate security and privacy controls for AI applications.
· Evaluate AI output quality, accuracy, latency, and cost.
· Understand and address AI-specific risks such as prompt injection, data leakage, and unauthorized model access.
6. Cloud & DevOps
· Deploy applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
· Work with Docker and containerized applications.
· Manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
· Configure application monitoring, logging, backups, and alerts.
· Troubleshoot deployment and production issues.
· Collaborate with DevOps engineers on infrastructure and release management.
7. Database & Data Management
· Design efficient database schemas and relationships.
· Optimize SQL queries, indexes, stored procedures, and database performance.
· Implement appropriate backup and recovery mechanisms.
· Ensure database security and access control.
· Work with both relational and NoSQL databases where appropriate.
8. Performance & Reliability
· Identify application bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
· Conduct load, stress, and performance testing.
· Improve application response time and scalability.
· Implement caching, asynchronous processing, queues, and other optimization techniques.
· Monitor production systems and resolve critical issues.
9. Team Leadership & Mentoring
· Mentor junior and mid-level developers.
· Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance.
· Establish coding, testing, security, and documentation standards.
· Participate in technical discussions and architecture reviews.
· Help the team troubleshoot complex technical issues.
· Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions on development, security, testing, and AI.
10. Project & Client Collaboration
· Understand business and technical requirements and translate them into solutions.
· Work closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, UI/UX, and clients.
· Provide technical estimates and participate in sprint planning.
· Communicate technical risks, dependencies, and progress.
· Support client demos and technical discussions when required.

Other Required skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree inComputer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in in full-stack software development and application architecture, with a proven track record of delivering complex and scalable software solutions across the complete development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Technical skills: Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, with hands-on experience in front-end and back-end development, APIs, databases, cloud technologies, and software architecture. Good knowledge of modern development practices, version control, CI/CD, and DevOps tools.
Cybersecurity: Strong understanding of secure coding practices, application security, OWASP principles, authentication, authorization, API security, vulnerability assessment, and data protection.
Testing & Quality: Experience in unit testing, integration testing, API testing, automation testing, performance testing, and debugging, with the ability to ensure high-quality and reliable software releases.
AI & Machine Learning: Working knowledge of AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, AI APIs, RAG, embeddings, and AI-based application development is highly desirable.
Leadership: Well-organised with strong technical leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills, with the ability to mentor developers and guide cross-functional teams.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex technical challenges and develop effective, scalable, and secure solutions.
Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of technology, electronics, AI, Machine Learning, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and emerging technologies is highly desirable.
