In this role as a Hotel Concierge Sales Executive, you will act as Make It Happen’s on-ground representative within the hotel. Your primary focus will be to connect with guests, identify their interests, and guide them toward meaningful local experiences that add value to their stay. You’ll also work in close partnership with the hotel’s concierge and front desk teams to ensure everything runs smoothly and guests receive outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Approach and interact with guests in a welcoming and engaging way to introduce and promote available experiences.
- Gain a thorough understanding of all tours and activities (including cultural walks, village trails, culinary experiences and more) to suggest options suited to individual preferences.
- Contribute to revenue generation by converting guest interactions into bookings and identifying upselling opportunities.
- Foster strong coordination with hotel staff, especially concierge and front office teams, to encourage teamwork and referrals.
- Liaise with the internal operations team to manage bookings and ensure seamless execution of experiences.
- Keep accurate records of daily sales and share updates with relevant internal teams.
- Ensure all promotional materials within the hotel are current, visually appealing, and consistent with brand guidelines.
- Respond to guest questions and handle concerns efficiently to maintain high service standards.
Requirements:
- A proactive individual with a strong service mindset and an interest in sales.
- A degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a similar field is preferred.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in hospitality, customer service, or sales; prior exposure to hotels or travel-related roles is beneficial.
- Strong verbal communication and people skills, with the ability to engage confidently with guests.
- Genuine interest in local culture, travel experiences, and storytelling.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills (such as Konkani, Hindi, or other languages) are advantageous.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
