Job Responsibilities
Perform incoming inspection of raw materials, bought-out parts, and sub-assemblies as
per control plan and specifications.
Ensure incoming materials meet drawing, specification, and customer requirements.
Review supplier inspection reports, COA, and test certificates.
Handle incoming material non-conformances and raise NCRs.
Coordinate with suppliers for corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain incoming inspection records and ensure material traceability.
Support PPAP and sample approval activities for new and changed parts.
Coordinate with production, stores, and supplier quality teams for material release.
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements.
Support internal audits, customer audits, and quality reviews.
Ensure 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards in incoming inspection area.
Key Skills Required
Good knowledge of plastic injection molding process and defects.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges.
Basic knowledge of PPAP, Control Plan, and PFMEA.
Good communication and coordination skills.
