Job Summary
The Plant Manager will be responsible for the efficient management of all plant operations, construction equipment, site administration, employee facilities, and logistics. The role ensures optimum utilization of machinery while maintaining smooth day-to-day operations of the project site.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage deployment, maintenance, and utilization of all construction plant and machinery.
- Manage employee accommodation, guest houses, housekeeping, security, and catering services.
- Coordinate onboarding arrangements, including accommodation, transportation, and meals for new employees.
- Coordinate vehicle allocation and travel arrangements for employees and visitors.
- Resolve administrative issues promptly and support overall employee welfare.
- Manage vendors and service providers for plant and administrative operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Monitor administrative and plant-related costs and submit periodic reports to management.
- Supervise stores, equipment inventory, and plant assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 8–12 years of experience in plant management for highway, infrastructure, or construction projects.
