As GiftAbled continues to grow, we are looking for a Head – Accounts & Finance who can build the financial strength and discipline needed to take that growth forward.
This is a leadership role, working closely with the Founders and senior team. We are looking for someone who can go beyond maintaining accounts to build systems, provide insights, manage risk and help shape business and program decisions.
What will you own?
- Lead and strengthen the entire Accounts & Finance function
- Drive financial planning, annual budgets, forecasting and cash-flow management
- Create clear financial visibility across programs, projects and business verticals
- Develop meaningful MIS and dashboards that help leadership make better decisions
- Oversee CSR, donor and grant financial management and reporting
- Ensure strong statutory, tax and regulatory compliance
- Lead statutory, internal, donor and project audits
- Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, SOPs and governance
- Identify financial risks and build processes to mitigate them
- Partner with Program, Operations, HR and Business Development teams on financial planning and decision-making
- Evaluate the financial sustainability and viability of new programs, partnerships and initiatives
- Support costing, pricing and resource allocation decisions
- Build and mentor a strong Finance & Accounts team
- Undertake frequent travel to project locations, field offices, partner organizations and for audits, reviews and donor engagements
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a finance professional who is both strategic and hands-on.
You should have:
- A Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related field
- 8–12+ years of relevant experience
- Strong expertise in accounting, taxation, compliance, audits, financial controls and reporting
- Experience with CSR, grants, donor-funded projects or the social sector will be an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent Excel/Google Sheets and accounting/ERP skills
- The ability to turn financial data into clear business and strategic insights
- Experience leading and developing finance teams
- The confidence to work directly with Founders and senior leadership
- A willingness to travel frequently
- High integrity, ownership and attention to detail
