Urgently Hiring for Zonal Head - Sales & Operations- FTL
1 Business Development : Initiate and develop new customers with focus on long term business and profitability. Contribute effectively to the organisation's growth in the assigned region with strategy and vision.
2 Operations Management: Ensure daily orders from the existing customers are met through multiple branches under the region assigned, including timely vehicle placement, efficient hiring of vehicles from brokers/owners, scheduling routes, ensuring timely delivery etc.
3 Customer Service : Highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved through efficient service levels, communication and visit. Build a strong business relationship with the customers.
4 Fleet and Asset Management: Ensure 100% utilization of the vehicles assigned to the territory without idle period.
5 System Compliance : Ensure all the internal systems, SOPs and policies wrt operations are followed by the team on a real time basis.
6 Team Leadership and Development: Lead, manage, and motivate a team of managers, supervisors, drivers, and other personnel within the zone. This includes hiring, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
7 Financial Oversight: Monitor vehicle hiring costs, manage the zone's budget, analyze expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities. This can involve negotiating with brokers/vehicle owners/aggregators.
8 Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) New business, Growth, Order fulfillment, On time vehicle placement, customer satisfaction and SLAs. Present the same to the management every month / as and when required. Use data analytics to identify trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
9 Stakeholder Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for key clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, managing expectations, resolving issues, and building strong relationships.
10 Compliance and Safety: Ensure strict adherence to all local and national transportation laws, safety regulations and customer policies.
Candidate Profile
A Educational qualification - Any Graduate. Additional qualification in transporation / logistics is prefererd.
B Experience - 15 to 20 years of core experience in transportation business handling varied industries. People working with reputed national level transporation companies are welcome.
C Skills required - Effective growth facilitator, Strong leadership skills, People management, adeqaute understandng of operational integration, HIghly Customer oriented, understanding of Systems and excellent verbal and written communication skill.
