Job Role : Product Leader – Echo

Role overview
Owns Echo product end-to-end: strategy, roadmap, design, and team build-out. Partners closely with the Engineering Leader on feasibility and trade-offs, and with the GTM Leader on customer signal and market positioning. This role is responsible for the product's trajectory from current early deployments through enterprise scale.
Echo is an enterprise conversational BI platform that translates natural language to SQL over SAP and traditional data warehouse systems, with flexible deployment across cloud, private cloud, and fully on-premise environments (including H100-class GPU infrastructure for air-gapped banking and healthcare deployments). The stack combines a fine-tuned NL-to-SQL engine, a semantic layer for business term resolution, and a retrieval layer over schema and historical query patterns, with an evaluation harness for accuracy and hallucination control.
Core responsibilities
- Product strategy: positioning, ICP definition, feature prioritization, and competitive differentiation
- Roadmap ownership: quarterly and annual planning, release sequencing, scope discipline
- Product specification: detailed PRDs, design partnership, acceptance criteria
- Customer discovery: structured engagement with active customers and prospects to validate direction
- Compliance and certification track ownership (SOC 2, ISO 27001, sector-specific certifications as relevant)
- Product team build-out across designers, PMs, and technical writers as scale demands
Required experience
- 5+ years in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Experience building enterprise B2B SaaS products, ideally in data, BI, or analytics
- Demonstrated ability to own a product from early stage through enterprise scale
- Customer-facing product discovery experience: structured interviews, win/loss analysis, requirements synthesis
- Comfort working closely with engineering on technical trade-offs and feasibility
Preferred experience
- Background with a data, BI, analytics, or developer tools SaaS vendor
- Familiarity with conversational AI, natural-language interfaces, or LLM-based products
- Experience with enterprise compliance certifications and procurement processes
- Domain depth in banking or healthcare
