Position Summary:
- We are looking for a Product Design Engineer who will be responsible for defining product specifications, creating digital or print drawings and designing fully functional products. To be successful in this role, you should have an eye for colour and shape and be able to translate requirements into practical product features.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
- Sketch drafts on paper or digitally (for example, using CAD).
- Use 3D modelling software to design products and components.
- Produce prototypes and test functionality.
- Improve the design of existing products.
- Create 2D layouts and 3D product designs.
- Identify opportunities for new products.
- Analyse how a new product ties in with market needs and consumer preferences.
- Set design requirements based on briefs from internal teams and external partners.
- Research materials and techniques.
- Gather feedback from product users.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or industrial design.
- Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Instrumentation engineering or industrial design.
Experience:
- Proven working experience of at least 2 years as a Product Design Engineer or similar role.
Required Skills and Capabilities:
- Experience in industrial design.
- Creativity in mixing up colours, shapes and techniques
- Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) tools, Creo, Revit, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Free CAD and Autodesk.
- Good knowledge of 3D modelling software
- Experience with design programs (like Illustrator and Sketch)
- Time-management skills
- Adaptability.

Location: Kolshet Road, Thane(W)

Pay: ₹14,643.76 - ₹36,064.59 per month
