SAP ABAP Developer Description:
Tech team should be an ABAP developer, who has strong experience in ODATA, Enhancements, Proxy , reports etc ., and strong debugging skills. It is added advantage if they worked on SAP ATTP system before, who understands the process quickly.
Role Requirements:
- Good understanding of SAP standard solutions for business processes
- Experience of having worked in large consolidation projects.
- Expertise in RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms and Workflow)
- ABAP Report Programming (Module Pool, Classical, Interactive, OOPS, ALV & SALV), Enhancements (BADI, User exit, Customer Exit, Enhancement Spot, Modifications, BTE, Implicit & Explicit), Forms (Smart forms, Script, Adobe), Interfaces (BAPI, ALE-Idocs, AIF, Proxy), Workflow
- Development of applications using Fiori/UI5
- Sound knowledge on OOABAP design principles and concepts, Database Dictionary Object, Work Processes, LUW etc.
- Experience in new design principles and data modelling using CDS Views, Annotations, AMDP and Embedded Analytics
- Experience in service modelling using OData Gateway, Proxy, CDS with BOPF and Middleware
- Experience in UI modelling using annotations in CDS, Gateway and Webide
- Experience in Fiori application custom development and extension of standard applications
- Carry out ABAP developments based on Functional and Technical Specifications
- Carry out Performance optimization, SPAU, SPDD and Debugging
- Project Experience in Implementation, Conversion, Upgrade, Support, Rollout and Enhancement.
- Good to have knowledge on RAP Programming Model, BRF+, SLT, Routines, OSS Note implementation, Git repository, Project Methodologies etc.
Responsibilities:
- Understand requirements from the customer’s perspective and ensure User story adherence for the feature being developed.
- Propose solution design and validate them with the technical architects in the team.
- Develop unit tests.
- Come up with innovative solutions in problem solving.
- Adhere to coding standards including performance and security of product.
- Adhere to development processes such as code review, JIRA updates, coding guidelines, release and delivery activities and efficient use of tools used for these processes.
- Ensure delivery of necessary artifacts such as design and feature documents, etc.
- Efficiently communicate with both internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrate flexibility to move between maintenance and development tasks.
- Coordinate for change and release management activities.
Additional Qualifications:
- Functional knowledge (SD/Retail/SC/FI/Logistics/CAR any of this ) has added advantage.
- Good to have knowledge on RAP Programming Model, BRF+, SLT.
- Open Stack / UI with minimal development experience has added advantage.
