Core Responsibilities
Talent Sourcing and Pipeline Development: HR recruiters proactively identify and attract qualified candidates using job boards, social media, LinkedIn, employee referrals, and talent databases. They also engage passive candidates who may not be actively seeking new roles, ensuring a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
Job Requirement Analysis and Job Descriptions: Recruiters collaborate with hiring managers to define the ideal candidate profile, required skills, and success metrics. They create and update clear, compelling job descriptions to attract suitable applicants.
Candidate Screening and Evaluation: HR recruiters review resumes, conduct initial phone or video interviews, and assess candidates for skills, experience, and cultural fit. Structured interview scorecards and evaluation tools are often used to ensure fairness and objectivity.
Interview Coordination: They schedule interviews, prepare hiring panels, and follow up with candidates and managers post-interview. This ensures a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Offer Management and Negotiation: HR recruiters craft competitive job offers, benchmark salaries, and manage negotiations to align with company policies and market standards. They aim to secure top talent while maintaining transparency and fairness.
Employer Branding and Candidate Experience: Recruiters represent the company to candidates, promoting the employer brand and ensuring a positive experience. They provide insights to hiring managers about market trends, talent availability, and candidate expectations.
Compliance and Reporting: HR recruiters ensure recruitment processes comply with labor laws and internal policies. They track hiring metrics, maintain candidate records, and provide regular updates to management on recruitment progress.
