About the Role
We are looking for an AI automation intern who is passionate about workflow automation, APIs, and artificial intelligence. You will work closely with the product, sales, marketing, customer success, and engineering teams to build intelligent automation using n8n, AI models, and third-party integrations that improve productivity and customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and build workflow automations using n8n.
- Develop automations for sales, marketing, customer success, and support teams.
- Integrate third-party applications using REST APIs and webhooks.
- Build AI-powered workflows using OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar LLMs.
- Automate CRM updates, lead management, email workflows, and notifications.
- Create AI agents for customer support, lead qualification, and internal operations.
- Debug, optimise, and maintain automation workflows.
- Document automation processes and workflow architecture.
- Monitor workflow execution and resolve automation failures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (pursuing or completed) in computer science, IT, artificial intelligence, or a related field.
- Understanding of workflow automation concepts.
- Basic knowledge of APIs, REST services, and webhooks.
- Familiarity with JSON and HTTP requests.
- Basic JavaScript knowledge.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and attention to detail.
- Passion for AI and automation technologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with n8n (required).
- Exposure to OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar AI models (required).
- Knowledge of prompt engineering (required).
- Familiarity with Google Workspace APIs, Gmail API, or Google Sheets API.
- Understanding of databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of Git and version control.
- Basic understanding of Docker and Linux is a plus.
- Experience integrating tools like Slack, WhatsApp API, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Notion, or ClickUp is an advantage.
