Job Summary
Ferracore Control is looking for an experienced and responsible Site Supervisor to oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of LT electrical panels at customer sites. The ideal candidate should be technically sound, capable of managing electricians and technicians, and able to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and according to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise installation of LT Panels, PCC, MCC, APFC, DG Synchronization Panels, PLC Panels, and Control Panels.
- Coordinate daily site activities with electricians, technicians, contractors, and clients.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, GA drawings, SLDs, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all installation work complies with safety standards and project specifications.
- Monitor project progress and maintain daily work reports.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely dispatch and installation.
- Attend client meetings and resolve site-related technical issues.
- Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical panels before handover.
- Ensure proper cable dressing, termination, earthing, and labeling.
- Maintain site documentation, checklists, and material records.
- Report project status, delays, and resource requirements to management.
Requirements
- Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or ITI (Electrical) with relevant experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in electrical panel installation and site supervision.
- Strong knowledge of LT electrical panels and industrial electrical systems.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot installation issues.
- Good communication and team management skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, and nearby regions.
- Valid driving license is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with industrial projects, factories, commercial buildings, and infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of electrical testing instruments (Multimeter, Megger, Clamp Meter, etc.).
- Familiarity with safety standards and electrical regulations.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
