Job Description

Create and update vendor master records in ERP systems ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Validate vendor documents such as tax details, bank information, and compliance certificates.

Process vendor creation, modification, and blocking requests within defined turnaround times.

Perform basic data quality checks to ensure correctness of vendor information.

Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to collect missing or incomplete details.

Follow standard operating procedures and data governance guidelines for all activities.

Respond to vendor master queries and support issue resolution in a timely manner.

Maintain proper documentation and records for all vendor master transactions.

Work on vendor master activities with hands-on experience in SAP ECC/S4 HANA systems.

As a Master Data Specialist, you are responsible for monitoring data quality (e.g., via dedicated data quality tools)

You ensure accuracy and adhere to metrics/KPIs / ensure data quality for deliverable is met and all metrics adhered

Propose opportunities for improvement of Vendor Master Data Quality

Creating Data Quality report requests on behalf of the business teams to be implemented by the IT teams is part of your tasks

Act as the SME in the Master data management activities

Train and mentor other team members to ensure seamless delivery
