Job Title: Mason (Civil Construction)
Department: Civil Maintenance / Construction
Job Summary:
A Mason is responsible for carrying out masonry and civil construction work, including brickwork, blockwork, plastering, concrete finishing, tiling, and repair and maintenance activities. The mason ensures work is completed according to drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct walls, partitions, and structures using bricks, blocks, stone, and concrete.
- Perform plastering, rendering, and finishing works.
- Lay tiles, pavers, and flooring materials.
- Carry out repair and maintenance of existing structures.
- Mix mortar, concrete, and other construction materials in required proportions.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Measure, cut, and shape building materials accurately.
- Ensure proper alignment, level, and finishing of masonry work.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other tradesmen on site.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of masonry techniques and construction practices.
- Ability to read basic construction drawings.
- Experience in brickwork, blockwork, plastering, and tiling.
- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment.
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Physical fitness and ability to work on construction sites.
Qualification
- Minimum: ITI/Trade Certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2–5 years in civil construction or maintenance projects.

- Site Supervisor / Civil Engineer / Project Manager
Pay: ₹11,076.16 - ₹49,838.14 per month
