Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architectural Draftsman role based in Ahmedabad. The Architectural Draftsman will prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and working details in line with project specifications and local regulations. Daily tasks include translating conceptual designs and sketches into accurate technical drawings, coordinating with architects, engineers, and site teams, and updating drawings based on design changes or site feedback. The role involves ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards, maintaining organized drawing records, and supporting project documentation throughout the design and construction lifecycle. The Architectural Draftsman will collaborate closely with project stakeholders to support timely, high-quality project delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings, with the ability to produce clear, precise, and buildable documentation.
- Foundational knowledge of Architecture and Planning principles to understand design intent and functional requirements.
- Competence in technical Drawing practices, including scale usage, dimensions, annotations, and detailing standards.
- Proficiency in relevant drafting and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools).
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Drafting, or a related field.
- Excellent attention to detail, spatial awareness, and ability to interpret architectural and structural inputs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams on-site and in the office.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and construction practices in India is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple drawing packages, meet deadlines, and adapt to design changes efficiently.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
