Job Summary
The Design Engineer will be responsible for designing LT electrical panels such as PCC, MCC, APFC, VFD, PLC, and Control Panels. The candidate will prepare electrical drawings, GA drawings, SLDs, schematics, and BOMs based on customer requirements and applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical panel drawings as per customer specifications.
- Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, schematic and wiring diagrams.
- Create and modify drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and component specifications.
- Select switchgear, busbars, cables, and other panel components.
- Coordinate with estimation, production, and project teams for design requirements.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, and customer standards.
- Provide technical support during panel manufacturing and testing.
- Review and update drawings based on site or customer feedback.
- Maintain proper documentation of all design records.
Technical Skills Required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D).
- Knowledge of LT Electrical Panels (PCC, MCC, APFC, VFD, PLC, and Control Panels).
- Understanding of Electrical Schematics and Wiring Diagrams.
- Knowledge of Busbar and Cable Sizing.
- Familiarity with Electrical Standards (IEC/IS).
- Basic knowledge of panel manufacturing processes.
Software Knowledge
- AutoCAD
- MS Excel
- MS Word
- Basic knowledge of EPLAN or similar electrical design software (preferred)
Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
