Job Description:
- Device Soldering: Perform through-hole, Surface Mount Technology (SMT), or hand soldering using soldering irons, de-soldering tools, or machines.
- Assembly & Inspection: Assemble electronic components onto PCBs and inspect joints to meet IPC or company quality standards.
· Prepares and solders all levels of electronic components onto Printed Circuit Boards (PCB’s) according to specifications.
- Device Soldering : Lead forming of different types of electronic parts using hand tools and automatic equipment for PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assembly.
- Rework & Repair: Fix, repair, and modify defective boards and components.
- Documentation & Safety: Maintain production records, follow detailed work instructions, and ensure a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
- Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve soldering-related issues.
- Device Assembly: Solder components onto PCBs using hand soldering tools, soldering stations, and, in some cases, microscopes for micro-soldering.
- Inspection: Perform quality control inspections on finished solder joints to ensure compliance with standards.
- Documentation: Maintain repair logs and track product data.
- Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions and maintain/calibrate soldering tools.
- Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve any soldering-related issues that arise during the manufacturing process
Required Qualifications & Skills
- ITI / diploma or Degree equivalent. (Technical -Electronics / Electrical)
· Experience: 2 -5 years of Previous experience in electronics manufacturing, soldering, or PCB assembly preferred. Certification in soldering or vocational training in electronics or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in soldering techniques, including through-hole soldering, surface mount technology (SMT) soldering, and rework/reflow soldering.
