Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QS & Billing Engineer with 2 years of experience in the construction industry. The candidate will be responsible for quantity estimation, client and subcontractor billing, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and cost monitoring for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify client bills and subcontractor bills.
- Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and site measurements.
- Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and rate analysis.
- Track project quantities, variations, and extra items.
- Coordinate with site engineers for measurement verification.
- Prepare and maintain billing records, invoices, and payment certifications.
- Monitor project costs and support cost control activities.
- Ensure timely submission of RA bills and final bills.
- Assist in procurement by preparing quantity requirements.
- Maintain billing documentation and project reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 2 years of experience in QS and billing for building or infrastructure projects.
- Good knowledge of quantity surveying principles and billing procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and billing/estimation software.
- Understanding of BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and contract documentation.
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ERP or billing software is an added advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within project deadlines.
