Position: Senior Administrator - Analytics Platform

Key Result Areas and Activites:
- ITIL Processes and Tech Modernization: Objectively support the setup of ITIL-driven processes and tech modernization initiatives while adhering to governance standards and reducing costs through automation. Focus on lowering costs by identifying and implementing automation opportunities and leveraging modern technologies. Promote and support democratization of technology to enable broader access and utilization across the organization.
- BI Platform Architecture and Setup: Design reference BI platform architecture blueprints for both on-premises and cloud deployments to ensure a robust and scalable setup. Install and configure BI platforms on-premises or on cloud IaaS/PaaS/SaaS environments, coordinating with relevant cloud teams to provision necessary resources and capacities. Establish security controls for interactive and service usage, including monitoring and delegated administration to safeguard the environment.
- Monitoring, Maintenance, and Support: Use built-in tools, custom reports, and external agents to monitor usage, performance, and resource utilization of the BI platform. Perform regular health checks and audits, providing health and sizing recommendations to ensure optimal performance. Offer priority support during outages, planned deployments, and maintenance. Troubleshoot issues, conduct root cause analysis, and provide recommendations to prevent future problems.
- Automation and Documentation: Identify opportunities for automating manual tasks and develop scripts using CLI/APIs. Explore DevOps practices such as containerization and automated access approvals through ticketing integrations. Perform regular backups, simulate restores, and conduct disaster recovery (DR) exercises to ensure compliance and data protection. Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), issues and root cause analyses (RCAs), and critical observations and recommendations
