The Service Advisor acts as the primary point of contact between customers and the workshop. The role involves understanding customer requirements, preparing job cards, coordinating with technicians, ensuring timely delivery of vehicles, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive customers and understand their service and repair requirements.
- Inspect vehicles and prepare job cards with accurate details.
- Explain maintenance recommendations, repair work, and estimated costs to customers.
- Coordinate with technicians and workshop staff to ensure timely completion of jobs.
- Monitor vehicle progress and keep customers informed about service status.
- Ensure quality checks are completed before vehicle delivery.
- Deliver vehicles to customers and explain the work carried out.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
- Promote periodic maintenance, spare parts, and value-added services.
- Maintain service records and customer databases.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Achieve customer satisfaction and service targets
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or any relevant field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a two-wheeler service workshop (preferred).
- Knowledge of two-wheeler maintenance and repair procedures.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
