Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced VMC Programmer to join our tool room team. The candidate will be responsible for programming for Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) for precision mold and die manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have experience in injection mold manufacturing and strong knowledge of CNC programming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create CNC programs for VMC machines.
- Operate and set up VMC machines for mold and die components.
- Work on mold parts like core, cavity, inserts, sliders, etc.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining methods.
- Supervising activities in the machining shop.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy as per drawing specifications.
- Perform trial runs and optimize programs for better efficiency.
- Coordinate with design and tool room teams.
- Maintain proper documentation of programs and machining processes.
- Follow safety and quality standards in the tool room.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 4~7 years of experience in VMC programming (preferably in injection mold manufacturing).
- Software - Powermill 24 / Delcam
- Good understanding of mold structure and tool room practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of CNC codes (G-code & M-code).
- Experience in handling Mitsubishi / Haas controllers preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
