Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter / Fitter to join our interior fit-out project team. The candidate will be responsible for installing, assembling, and finishing interior fit-out elements such as furniture, partitions, doors, wall paneling, cabinetry, and other wood or metal-based fixtures according to project drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret shop drawings, technical drawings, and site instructions.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install materials accurately.
- Install wooden and modular furniture, cabinets, doors, partitions, wall cladding, and ceilings.
- Carry out fitting and fixing works at project sites as per quality standards.
- Operate carpentry and fitting tools, machines, and equipment safely.
- Coordinate with supervisors, site engineers, and other trades on site.
- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and finishing of installed items.
- Repair or replace damaged fittings and finishes when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety at the work area.
- Follow company safety procedures and site regulations.
- Complete assigned tasks within project timelines.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Good knowledge of carpentry and interior fit-out works.
- Ability to read measurements and technical drawings.
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of materials such as plywood, MDF, laminates, veneer, gypsum, aluminum, and hardware fittings.
- Attention to detail and finishing quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to work on-site conditions.
Qualifications & Experience
- ITI / Vocational training in Carpentry, Woodwork, or related trade preferred.
- Minimum 1–5 years of experience in Carpentry.
- Knowledge of modular furniture installation preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
