Pre-Primary Coordinator
Job Description
Springfield World School, a CBSE-affiliated school, is looking for an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Pre-Primary Coordinator to lead and coordinate the academic and overall development of our Pre-Primary section.
The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, communication, classroom management, and team-coordination skills, along with a genuine understanding of early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise the day-to-day functioning of the Pre-Primary section.
- Plan, implement, and monitor age-appropriate academic and co-curricular activities.
- Guide and mentor Pre-Primary teachers in lesson planning, classroom practices, and teaching methodologies.
- Ensure a safe, joyful, engaging, and child-friendly learning environment.
- Monitor students' academic, social, emotional, and overall development.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
- Coordinate assessments, activity-based learning, and student progress reports.
- Maintain effective communication with parents regarding students' progress and development.
- Organize events, celebrations, activities, and special programmes for the Pre-Primary section.
- Ensure proper implementation of school policies, curriculum, and academic plans.
- Maintain necessary academic and administrative records.
- Work closely with the Principal and academic team for the smooth functioning and continuous improvement of the Pre-Primary section.
Candidate Profile
- Qualification: Graduation / Post-Graduation with B.Ed. / NTT / D.El.Ed. / ECCE or relevant qualification.
- Prior experience in Pre-Primary teaching or coordination will be preferred.
- Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of English communication.
- Knowledge of child-centred and activity-based learning methodologies.
- Creative, organized, responsible, and positive in approach.
- Candidates with experience in a CBSE school will be preferred.
