Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in an industrial manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with three-phase electrical systems, heavy industrial machinery, PLC-controlled equipment, and industrial wiring. The candidate must possess a valid electrical license and have a strong understanding of electrical safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair three-phase electrical systems.
Troubleshoot and repair heavy industrial machinery and production equipment.
Diagnose and rectify electrical faults in PLC-controlled machines.
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
Perform complete industrial and office electrical wiring, including panels, lighting, powerdistribution, and control circuits.
Install, test, and maintain electrical panels, MCCs, DBs, motors, VFDs, and control wiring.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and PLC schematics.
Identify electrical faults using appropriate testing instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters,and insulation testers.
Ensure all electrical work complies with statutory regulations and company safety standards.
Maintain maintenance records and report major equipment failures.
Coordinate with the maintenance and production teams to minimize machine downtime.
Respond promptly to emergency electrical breakdowns.
Required Qualifications
ITI/Diploma in Electrician, Electrical Engineering, or a related trade.
Valid Electrical License is mandatory.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
Experience working with three-phase power systems and industrial machinery.
Practical knowledge of PLC-based machines and electrical control panels.
Experience in industrial and commercial/office electrical wiring.
Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot complex electrical faults.
Willingness to work in shifts and attend emergency breakdowns when required.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of VFDs, contactors, relays, MCC panels, and motor starters.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Awareness of electrical safety standards and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
