Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Electrician to handle electrical installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting activities across our commercial buildings, retail showrooms, offices, and other facilities.
The candidate should have strong practical knowledge in the electrical field and be capable of independently identifying electrical faults, carrying out repairs, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities – Electrician
- Handle electrical installation, wiring, and maintenance work.
- Repair and troubleshoot electrical faults, short circuits, tripping, and faulty wiring.
- Maintain electrical panels, MCBs, DBs, motors, pumps, lights, fans, and other equipment.
- Use electrical testing tools such as multimeter and tester for fault identification.
- Ensure proper earthing, load balancing, and safe electrical connections.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Follow electrical safety procedures and use required PPE.
- Attend electrical issues at showrooms, offices, and company locations.
- Maintain basic records of repairs, maintenance, and material requirements.
- Report major electrical issues and requirements to the Supervisor or Manager.
Education / Qualification
Qualification: BE / Diploma in Electrical.
Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in commercial, retail showroom, building maintenance, or industrial electrical work.
Skills: Strong practical knowledge of electrical wiring, single-phase and three-phase systems, electrical panels, MCB, MCCB, DB, motors, pumps, lighting systems, and electrical troubleshooting.
Technical Knowledge: Ability to read basic electrical wiring diagrams and use electrical testing instruments such as multimeter, tester, and clamp meter.
Required Skills
- Good hands-on knowledge in the electrical field.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of commercial and retail electrical systems.
- Knowledge of electrical load balancing and proper earthing.
- Ability to work independently and handle electrical breakdowns.
- Good knowledge of electrical tools and equipment.
- Safety-conscious and responsible approach to work.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Must Have
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience as an Electrician.
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical maintenance.
- Ability to handle electrical breakdowns independently.
- Willingness to travel to company locations whenever required.
- Ability to work beyond regular hours during emergency breakdowns when required.
