1. Role/ Job Summary
We are looking for skilled and motivated Executives with 2#5 years of experience in manufacturing operations. The role involves working on the shop floor across different units withing solar PV manufacturing giga site to ensure smooth production, quality, and equipment performance.
Executives will support line operations, monitor process parameters, guide junior staff, and contribute to achieving shift and production targets while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
2. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and control machines and equipment as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure safe, efficient, and consistent production in assigned areas.
- Conduct process checks, maintain operational records, and assist in quality assurance activities.
- Identify and report equipment or process issues, assist in basic troubleshooting, and coordinate with maintenance teams for quick resolution.
- Ensure 5S implementation and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Support shift planning and execution, ensuring production targets are met with minimal downtime.
- Guide and support junior operators and newly joined trainees in performing daily tasks.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen and productivity enhancement activities.
- Ensure strict adherence to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards at all times.
- Record production, quality, and downtime data accurately in prescribed systems or tools (e.g., SAP / shift logs).
- Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and communication, Instrumentation, Chemical, Plastic
- BSC (Physics, Maths, Chemistry and Electronics)
- 2-5 Years working experience working on manufacturing line, in solar, automobile, glass, discreet manufacturing, polysilicon and similar industries
- Preferred - Experience with plant start-up & Lean Maintenance System development will be advantageous
- Demonstrated understanding of basic job requirements.
- Sound understanding of production processes, machinery operation, and quality parameters.
- Familiarity with shop floor practices, shift operations, and equipment safety.
- Ability to work effectively in rotational shifts and under tight timelines.
- Hands-on exposure to SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Good teamwork, communication, and reporting skills.
- Energetic, responsible, and proactive attitude with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email, SAP entry preferred).
- Skills and abilities to perform job include that includes problem solving and troubleshooting skills, computer literacy, interpersonal skills, basic decision making; ability to work in a team, as well as independently.
