Job Summary
The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the Mahindra sales team to achieve business targets, drive revenue growth, improve market share, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. The role involves managing sales operations, developing the team, building customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with company and Mahindra dealership standards.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Management
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and execute sales strategies.
- Monitor enquiries, bookings, retail sales, and deliveries.
- Drive profitability and market share growth.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team.
- Allocate sales targets and review performance.
- Conduct daily sales meetings and coaching sessions.
- Develop team capability through regular training.
Customer Relationship Management
- Ensure an exceptional customer buying experience.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Improve customer satisfaction and referral business.
Business Development
- Generate retail, corporate, institutional, and fleet business.
- Identify new business opportunities and market potential.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis.
Inventory & Compliance
- Monitor inventory and ageing stock.
- Ensure adherence to Mahindra dealership guidelines and company policies.

Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (MBA preferred).
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in automobile sales.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Sales Manager role.
- Mahindra dealership experience will be preferred.
