Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, and support OpenText Documentum solutions.
- Develop and maintain DFC-based custom components, workflows, lifecycles, and Documentum object types.
- Configure and customize Documentum Content Server, DA, Webtop, and D2 / xCP (if applicable).
- Develop server-side components using DFC, Java, BOF, and custom methods.
- Implement and support Documentum workflows, job scheduling, and lifecycle management.
- Perform repository configuration, user/group/ACL management.
- Work on Documentum upgrades, migrations, and production support activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, security, and application issues.
- Collaborate with business, QA, and infrastructure teams for end-to-end delivery.
- Prepare technical documentation and follow TCS development best practices.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong experience in OpenText Documentum platform.
- Hands-on experience with:
- DFC (Documentum Foundation Classes)
- Content Server
- Documentum Administrator (DA)
- Webtop / D2 / xCP (any one preferred)
- Proficiency in Java and J2EE concepts.
- Experience with Documentum workflows and lifecycles.
- Good understanding of RDBMS (Oracle / SQL Server).
- Experience in Linux/Unix environments.
- Knowledge of Documentum security model (ACLs, users, groups, roles).
Good to Have
- Experience with Documentum Migration tools (D2 Migrator, DFS, CTS, custom migration).
- Knowledge of REST services / DFS services.
- Exposure to CI/CD, SVN, Git, Maven.
- Basic understanding of cloud migration (Azure/AWS) is an advantage.
- Experience working in support & maintenance projects.
