echanical Fitter – Job Description
Position: Mechanical Fitter
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and replace defective components.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain maintenance records.
Requirements:
- ITI/Diploma in Fitter or Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Ability to use mechanical tools and measuring instruments.
- Willingness to work in shifts if required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
