Key Responsibilities
- Perform PCB assembly, rework, and repair in accordance with IPC-A-610 Class 3 and J-STD-001 requirements.
- Execute SMT and through-hole component assembly with high precision.
- Conduct fine-pitch soldering and rework of BGA, QFN, QFP, LGA, and other complex packages.
- Inspect assembled PCBs for workmanship, solder quality, and compliance with Class 3 standards.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing defects and implement corrective actions.
- Perform functional testing, continuity testing, and visual inspections.
- Read and interpret PCB drawings, assembly instructions, BOMs, Gerber files, and manufacturing documentation.
- Support process validation, first article inspections (FAI), and engineering builds.
- Mentor and train junior technicians on IPC standards and best manufacturing practices.
- Ensure ESD-safe handling and maintain cleanroom/workstation discipline.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
- Maintain documentation, inspection reports, and traceability records.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 Class 3 acceptance criteria.
- Working knowledge of IPC J-STD-001 soldering standards.
- Hands-on experience with SMT and THT assembly.
- Expertise in PCB rework and repair techniques.
- Experience using soldering stations, hot-air rework stations, microscopes, and inspection equipment.
- Knowledge of ESD control procedures.
- Ability to identify and resolve soldering and assembly defects.
- Familiarity with electronic components and PCB manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and team leadership abilities.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
