Technician Job Description for Solar Project
We are looking for a skilled Solar Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot solar power systems at our project site. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of solar panels, inverters, and electrical connections while following safety and quality standards.

Install, test, and commission solar panels, inverters, and other related electrical components.

Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of solar power systems.

Identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to wiring, inverters, and panel efficiency.

Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and project guidelines.

Coordinate with project managers and engineers to execute installations as per site requirements.

Handle tools, testing equipment, and materials safely and efficiently.

Document service reports, work progress, and any technical issues encountered.

Assist in training junior technicians and support staff when required.

ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.

1+ years of experience in solar.

Knowledge of electrical wiring, inverters, and solar system components.

Familiarity with safety protocols and electrical codes.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and circuit diagrams.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.

Willingness to travel and work in remote project locations.
