Job Description
We are looking for a tech-savvy and responsible Transport & Technology Operations Executive to join our team.
The role involves 24/7 vehicle tracking and monitoring, maintaining Excel reports, coordinating with drivers, and working with various computer-based software and operational systems.
This is a good opportunity for freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are interested in technology, logistics, vehicle tracking and computer-based operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor vehicles through GPS/vehicle tracking software.
- Track vehicle location, movement, stoppages and delays.
- Monitor vehicle trips and ensure timely movement.
- Coordinate with drivers when required.
- Maintain daily vehicle movement records.
- Prepare and update Excel reports.
- Enter and verify operational data accurately.
- Work with company software, web applications and tracking systems.
- Identify unusual vehicle stoppages, delays or route deviations and inform the concerned team.
- Maintain accurate records of loading, unloading, arrival and departure.
- Cross-check GPS information with Excel and operational records.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports for management.
- Coordinate with transport and operations teams.
- Learn and work with new software and technology used by the company.
Skills Required
- Basic to good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Good computer knowledge.
- Comfortable using web-based applications and software.
- Good typing and data-entry skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to learn new software quickly.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Responsible and alert while monitoring vehicles.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts.
Excel Knowledge
Basic Excel knowledge is required.
Knowledge of VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF/COUNTIF, filters and basic reporting will be an advantage, but freshers who are willing to learn are encouraged to apply.
Eligibility
- Freshers are welcome.
- Candidates with 0–1 year of experience can apply.
- Any graduate with good computer knowledge can apply.
- Candidates from BCA, B.Sc Computer Science, B.Com, BBA, B.E/B.Tech or other relevant backgrounds are welcome.
- Candidates with logistics, transport, MIS, fleet tracking or control-room experience will have an advantage.
Important
This is a 24/7 vehicle monitoring operation, so candidates must be comfortable working in rotational shifts, including night shifts.
Salary
₹12,000 – ₹18,000 per month, based on skills and interview performance.
