As a Test Automation Engineer, a typical day involves applying quality processes and utilizing automation tools and methodologies to enhance testing products and solutions. The role focuses on managing the end-to-end quality engineering function with an emphasis on automation, aiming to improve control, accuracy, and integrity throughout the testing lifecycle. This position requires continuous collaboration with various teams to ensure seamless integration of automated testing practices and to drive improvements in product quality and reliability.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align testing strategies with overall project goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Playwright, Investment Banking, JavaScript, TypeScript.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Financial Services.
- Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks and best practices.
- Ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation scripts.
- Experience in integrating automated tests within continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting automation issues to ensure test reliability.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Playwright.
- This position is based at our PDC2C - SEZ office.
