Job Summary
Ganesh Cars Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Body Shop Manager to lead and manage body shop operations at our Kanchipuram facility. The candidate will be responsible for accident repair operations, insurance coordination, workshop productivity, quality control, and customer satisfaction while ensuring timely vehicle delivery and profitability of the body shop division.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete body shop operations including denting, painting, accident repairs, and vehicle restoration.
- Supervise technicians, painters, estimators, and support staff for efficient workflow management.
- Ensure timely delivery of vehicles with high-quality repair standards.
- Coordinate with insurance companies and surveyors for claim approvals and documentation.
- Monitor workshop productivity, job allocation, turnaround time, and labor efficiency.
- Maintain customer satisfaction by addressing complaints and providing repair updates.
- Ensure adherence to OEM standards, safety procedures, and workshop discipline.
- Track body shop revenue, profitability, and cost control measures.
- Maintain inventory of paints, consumables, tools, and spare parts related to body shop operations.
- Prepare daily and monthly MIS reports for management review.
- Conduct staff training and performance evaluations.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in automobile body shop operations.
- Prior experience in dealership body & paint workshop management is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accident repair processes, painting techniques, and insurance claims.
- Leadership and team handling capability.
- Good communication and customer handling skills.
