Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with LIHTC, Section 8, and other affordable housing program requirements, including HUD and IRS regulations. This involves staying abreast of regulatory changes and implementing necessary adjustments to maintain compliance across all properties.
- Review resident applications, certifications, and recertifications for program eligibility and accuracy. This includes verifying income, assets, and household composition to ensure they meet program guidelines.
- Conduct file audits, income verifications, and rent calculations to ensure ongoing program compliance. Regular audits help identify discrepancies and ensure that rent calculations align with program requirements.
- Submit required compliance reports to state and federal agencies on time. Timely reporting to agencies such as HUD and state housing departments is crucial for maintaining program funding and avoiding penalties.
- Stay updated on program changes and regulatory updates, communicating necessary adjustments to the management team. This ensures that all staff are informed of new requirements and can implement changes promptly.
- Train on-site staff and property managers on compliance requirements and best practices. Providing training sessions and resources helps maintain a knowledgeable team that can uphold compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Work Schedule:
Shift Timing: 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
