Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer – People Analytics with strong expertise in Snowflake, Data Warehousing, SQL, ETL, and Power BI. The role will focus on building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and cloud data solutions that support People Analytics and business reporting.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and modern data warehouse environments, along with the ability to transform complex data into reliable analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and data warehouse solutions.
- Work extensively with Snowflake for data storage, transformation, and analytics.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
- Build and automate ETL/ELT pipelines for reporting and analytics.
- Support the development of Power BI dashboards, data models, measures, and visualizations.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency, and availability across analytics solutions.
- Work with Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
- Use Python or similar scripting languages for data processing and automation.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and global HR/business stakeholders.
- Document data flows, data definitions, warehouse structures, and reporting logic.
- Follow Agile, DevOps, and version control (Git) practices.
- Independently manage small to mid-sized data engineering/analytics projects.
Mandatory Skills:
- 5+ years of Data Engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on Snowflake experience – Mandatory.
- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and architecture.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformation.
- Experience with Power BI and data modeling.
- Experience with cloud platforms – Azure/AWS.
- Proficiency in Python or similar scripting language.
- Experience with Power Query / Advanced Excel / VBA is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Git, Agile, and DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in People Analytics / HR Analytics.
- Experience working with global teams and senior stakeholders.
- Experience building enterprise-scale Snowflake data warehouse solutions.
- Exposure to advanced analytics or data science.
Pay: ₹509,436.64 - ₹1,268,808.54 per year
