Job Title: CDP (Chinese Cuisine)
Job Summary:
The Chef de Partie (CDP) in the Chinese section is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting Chinese dishes to the highest standards. The CDP will oversee a specific area within the Chinese kitchen, ensure timely preparation, and maintain high levels of food quality, safety, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present Chinese cuisine, including traditional and contemporary dishes.
- Manage a specific section of the kitchen, such as wok, dim sum, or soup, ensuring the section is clean and organized.
- Work with the Sous Chef and kitchen team to develop new Chinese dishes and maintain consistency in preparation.
- Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to order and delivered on time, with attention to detail in taste, presentation, and portion size.
- Monitor food stock and ingredients for the Chinese section, ordering ingredients as needed and minimizing wastage.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, ensuring that the section adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in menu planning, pricing, and costing of Chinese dishes.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and continuously introduce new techniques and ideas for Chinese cuisine.
- Work closely with other sections to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service.
- Adhere to all kitchen safety protocols and maintain proper storage of food and ingredients.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a Chinese kitchen.
- In-depth knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques and regional Chinese cuisines (e.g., Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and manage high-pressure situations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor junior staff.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Keen attention to detail, ensuring consistency in presentation and taste.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Culinary certification or relevant experience in Chinese cuisine is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
