Job Summary
We are seeking a precise and reliable Quantity Surveyor / Billing Engineer to verify, measure, and record all electrical work executed on-site. In this role, you will bridge the gap between field execution and financial billing by conducting physical audits of installed electrical systems, comparing installations against engineering drawings, and documenting quantities for progress payments. Your accuracy will ensure transparent billing and prevent cost overruns.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Field Measurements: Measure exact physical quantities of installed electrical items, including cable tray runs, conduit routing, wiring lengths, and earthing strips.
- Count and Audit Fixtures: Physically verify the total count of installed electrical fixtures, such as distribution boards, switchgear, light fixtures, panels, and sockets.
- Reconcile Against Drawings: Compare physical site measurements against Approved-for-Construction (AFC) drawings and schematic diagrams to detect deviations.
- Prepare Measurement Sheets: Maintain detailed Joint Measurement Sheets (JMS) signed off by client representatives and contractors to lock in certified work quantities.
- Material Reconciliation: Track raw materials issued versus actual materials consumed on-site to minimize wastage and identify theft or discrepancies.
- Support Billing Processes: Assist the project controls team by providing accurate, measured data to process monthly contractor bills and client progress claims.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: 12th Pass, Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying.
- Technical Experience: 2+ years of field experience in site supervision, site measurement, or electrical quantity surveying.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills to coordinate between site engineers, project managers, and third-party contractors
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
