Job Title: Sourcing / Purchase Executive – Pharmaceutical Formulations (FDF) Exports

Job Summary
Responsible for sourcing and procurement of Finished Dosage Formulations (FDF) for export markets, including vendor identification, commercial negotiations, purchase order management, and coordination with internal teams to ensure timely product availability and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing
- Source FDF products (tablets, capsules, injectables, syrups, etc.) from approved manufacturers.
- Identify and develop new vendors and contract manufacturing partners.
- Obtain quotations, evaluate offers, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Generate and manage purchase orders and track order fulfillment.
Vendor Management
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Evaluate vendors on quality, compliance, pricing, and delivery performance.
- Coordinate vendor qualification with QA and Regulatory teams
- Resolve supply shortages, quality concerns, and delivery issues.
Export & Regulatory Coordination
- Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs for product registrations, dossiers, and export documentation.
- Ensure supplier compliance with WHO-GMP, EU-GMP, and country-specific regulatory requirements.
- Support export business teams with sourcing solutions for target markets.
Supply Chain & Documentation
- Monitor procurement requirements and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with planning, warehouse, and logistics teams.
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, quotations, and supplier agreements.
- Prepare procurement reports and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in pharmaceutical sourcing/procurement.
- Experience in FDF sourcing for export markets preferred.
- Exposure to third-party manufacturing and contract sourcing is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical formulations and manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of GMP, WHO-GMP, EU-GMP, and export regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication, analytical, and coordination abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
