Role:Interior Designer
Exp: 3-5 years

Key Responsibilities
Concept & Design:
Develop design concepts, mood boards, 2D layouts, and 3D visualizations based on client briefs and site requirements.
Client Presentations:
Understand client requirements and present design options, material boards, and BOQs for approval.
Working Drawings:
Prepare detailed GFC drawings, joinery details, electrical and plumbing layouts, and false ceiling designs for site execution.
Material Selection:
Select finishes, laminates, veneers, tiles, fabrics, lighting, and hardware within the project budget.
Site Coordination:
Conduct site visits, resolve design issues on-site, and ensure execution aligns with design intent and quality standards.
BOQ & Costing:
Assist in preparing BOQs, material estimates, and vendor rate comparisons for accurate project costing.
Vendor Follow-up:
Coordinate with carpenters, civil teams, electricians, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of work.
Project Tracking:
Maintain project timelines, update clients on progress, and support the Project Manager during project handover.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education:
Diploma / B.Sc / B.Des in Interior Design or Architecture.
Experience:
3–5 years of experience in interior contracting or design firms. Site execution experience is mandatory.
Software:
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D), SketchUp, 3ds Max with V-Ray, and Photoshop. Knowledge of Lumion or Enscape is an added advantage.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of materials, modular joinery, false ceilings, lighting, and site execution details.
Core Skills:
Good design sense, effective client communication, vendor coordination, and time management skills.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel to client sites across Chennai.
Additional Advantage:
Direct site exposure with end-to-end project handling.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
