Job Responsibilities:
Job Title: Executive – Credit Operations (Loan Processing & Underwriting) Department: Credit Operations Location: Gurugram (Work from Office) Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Executive – Credit Operations to support our lending process by reviewing loan applications, verifying documentation, and coordinating with lending partners for timely loan disbursement. The incumbent will ensure that every loan file is complete, compliant with internal and lending partner policies, and accurately logged into the appropriate lender's system. This role requires strong attention to detail, good analytical ability, and an understanding of lending documentation and credit processes. Key Responsibilities
- Review loan application files received from the sales/business teams.
- Verify the completeness and accuracy of customer documents as per company and lending partner requirements.
- Identify missing or incorrect documents and coordinate with internal teams to obtain the required information.
- Ensure all loan files comply with the eligibility criteria and documentation requirements of the respective lending partner.
- Assess cases and route them to the most suitable lending partner based on predefined credit and policy guidelines.
- Log loan applications into the respective lending partner's portal/system accurately and within defined turnaround times.
- Maintain proper records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Coordinate with lending partners to resolve documentation or processing-related queries.
- Track the status of submitted loan applications and follow up until disbursement.
- Ensure adherence to internal SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and lending partner policies.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy while processing loan files to minimize rejections and processing delays.
- Prepare daily MIS reports on application status, pending documentation, login status, approvals, and disbursements.
- Escalate complex or exceptional cases to the senior underwriting team whenever required.
- Continuously stay updated with changes in lending partner policies and internal credit guidelines.

Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Freshers with relevant internships or candidates with up to 2 years of experience in loan processing, credit operations, underwriting support, or financial services may apply.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in NBFC, FinTech & Banking.
- Familiarity with loan origination systems (LOS), lending partner portals, and document verification processes is an added advantage.
