Role : Sr. Data Engineer
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad (Work from Office)
Experience: 8+ years.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Build and optimize data solutions using Databricks, PySpark, and Spark SQL.
- Develop efficient SQL queries for data transformation and analysis.
- Design robust data models and implement scalable data architecture.
- Create and manage data integration workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Business stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and performance optimization across data platforms.
- Manage source code using GitHub and follow best practices for version control and CI/CD.
- Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve data engineering processes.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, and Spark SQL.
- Good understanding of Data Modeling and Data Architecture.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) Preferred.
- Proficiency in GitHub for version control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
