Role Overview
As an Instructional Designer – Marathi Content at Enthral, you will be responsible for supporting the design and development of engaging, learner-centric eLearning content, with a specific focus on Marathi-language learning programs.
You will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), senior instructional designers, project managers, and multimedia teams to convert business and technical content into structured, effective, and engaging digital learning experiences.
The ideal candidate should have a strong command of Marathi, both written and spoken, along with good English communication skills and a basic understanding of instructional design and eLearning development.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements, target audience, learning objectives, and content requirements.
- Develop and structure Marathi-language eLearning content based on client requirements and source material.
- Convert raw SME content into clear, concise, learner-friendly training material in Marathi.
- Create storyboards, scripts, course outlines, narration scripts, assessments, and other learning assets.
- Adapt English or other source content into natural, contextually appropriate Marathi, rather than performing literal word-for-word translation.
- Apply basic instructional design principles to organize content and create effective learning experiences.
- Develop quizzes, assessments, scenarios, interactions, and other learning activities.
- Work with eLearning authoring tools to develop interactive learning modules.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, animators, voice-over artists, and multimedia teams to integrate visual and audio elements.
- Coordinate with SMEs and internal teams to clarify content and ensure accuracy.
- Participate in internal reviews, quality checks, and feedback cycles and incorporate revisions appropriately.
- Review Marathi content for language accuracy, grammar, terminology, readability, and consistency.
- Ensure that Marathi learning content is appropriate for the intended learner audience and maintains the required professional tone.
- Support the development of content for LMS/LXP-based digital learning programs.
- Stay updated with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in instructional design and digital learning.
Qualifications – Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Marathi, English, Communication, Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, content development, educational content, or a related role.
- Excellent written and spoken Marathi is mandatory.
- Strong command of Marathi grammar, vocabulary, sentence construction, and professional writing.
- Ability to develop and adapt content in Marathi while retaining the intended meaning, context, and learning objective.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
- Basic understanding of instructional design concepts, preferably including ADDIE.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and content-structuring skills.
- Ability to understand complex information and present it in a simple, learner-friendly manner.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within project timelines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with SMEs, instructional designers, project managers, and multimedia teams.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, or Adobe Captivate.
- Exposure to LMS/LXP platforms and digital learning technologies.
- Experience in developing or adapting content for regional Indian languages.
- Basic understanding of multimedia and visual learning design.
- Experience creating interactive learning activities, scenarios, simulations, or gamified learning.
- Experience with content review, proofreading, or quality assurance of Marathi-language content.
- Exposure to AI-assisted content development tools would be an advantage.
