Job Summary
We are looking for a Deputy Operations Consultant with 4–6 years of experience in Production, Manufacturing, Operations, Process Improvement, or Consulting.
The role involves supporting operations consulting projects from process assessment and data analysis through implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement. The candidate will work closely with Senior Operations Consultants, Project Managers, and client teams at both management and shop-floor levels.
The ideal candidate should have a practical understanding of manufacturing/operations processes, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to execute improvement initiatives at client locations.
Key Responsibilities
Understand client requirements, business objectives, and operational challenges.
Conduct process studies and identify gaps in production, manufacturing, and operational systems.
Analyze existing processes and recommend practical improvement opportunities.
Support implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and other operational excellence methodologies.
Develop, update, and maintain SOPs, process flows, process maps, work instructions, and skills matrices.
Support preparation and execution of project plans, action plans, review sheets, and implementation trackers.
Collect, validate, and analyze operational data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Develop and implement MIS reports, operational dashboards, KPIs, and shop-floor performance monitoring systems.
Support clients in establishing performance metrics and structured reporting mechanisms.
Coordinate with client management, department heads, supervisors, and shop-floor teams for project execution.
Conduct regular project reviews and track implementation of agreed action points.
Assist in audits of implemented systems, processes, and improvement initiatives.
Prepare project reports, review reports, presentations, and management updates.
Support training and awareness sessions for client teams on processes and improvement methodologies.
Guide and coordinate with junior team members to ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
Maintain effective communication with clients and internal consulting teams.
Travel to client locations as required for project implementation and review activities.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who is execution-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working directly with client teams and shop-floor personnel.
The candidate should be able to understand operational problems, convert observations and data into actionable insights, and support implementation of practical solutions.
Education & Experience
Qualification:
Diploma / BE / B.Tech / MBA / Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
