Job Title: TGT Social Science Teacher

Job Summary:
is seeking a qualified and passionate TGT Social Science Teacher for its Central Academy, Sanchore branch. The candidate will be responsible for teaching Social Science to middle school students, developing their understanding of history, geography, civics, and social awareness while creating an engaging and supportive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Social Science subjects to middle school students as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons using interactive and student-centered teaching methods.
- Develop students’ understanding of history, geography, civics, and current affairs.
- Encourage critical thinking, analytical skills, and social awareness among students.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, worksheets, and assessment materials.
- Assess students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and classroom documentation.
- Encourage participation in quizzes, debates, presentations, and other social science-related activities.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment in the classroom.
- Participate in school events, meetings, trainings, and professional development programs.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and coordinators for curriculum planning and student development.
Requirements:
- Graduate/Post Graduate in Social Science or relevant subject.
- B.Ed preferred.
- Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience as a Social Science Teacher preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge and communication skills.
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
- Basic computer knowledge and smart classroom handling skills preferred.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Saturday (as per school timings)
